Good Faith Estimate Notice
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use their health insurance with a Good Faith Estimate of the expected costs of services. A Good Faith Estimate explains the anticipated cost of psychotherapy services and any related fees. The estimate is based on the information available at the time it is provided and is intended to help you understand and plan for the cost of your care.
You have the right to:
1. Receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of psychotherapy services if you are uninsured or choose not to use your insurance benefits.
2. Request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during treatment.
3. Receive an updated estimate if your treatment needs or anticipated costs change significantly.
Please note that psychotherapy is individualized and the length, frequency, and duration of treatment can vary from person to person. As a result, actual costs may differ from the estimate provided.
Questions or Requests
If you would like to receive a Good Faith Estimate or have questions about fees and payment for services, please contact our office. We are happy to discuss your options and help you understand the anticipated costs of treatment.
